Lithium polymer batteries are originally saying the lithium battery with gelled electrolyte, but it is commonly referred to as the soft bag battery or pouch cell battery today. It’s born for handheld equipment and electronics products. Most importantly, polymer batteries changed the product design concept, it goes to fit the product design, while the product has to go fit the 18650 or other types of batteries.
