Lithium batteries have a higher energy density, which means they can store more energy in a smaller and lighter package. This results in longer runtimes on a single charge, allowing golfers to play more rounds without recharging.
Lithium batteries typically have a longer lifespan than lead-acid batteries. They can endure more charge and discharge cycles, which means they will last for several years with proper care.
Lithium batteries are compact and can be designed to fit into smaller spaces, allowing for more flexibility in the design of golf trolleys.
Lithium batteries provide a more stable and consistent voltage throughout their discharge cycle. This can result in more consistent performance from your golf trolley.
According to the requirements, we choose different types of cells, such as cylindrical cells, prismatic cells, and pouch cells. The variety of cell shapes allows us to provide customers with the maximum flexibility of the battery size and shapes in order to meet the golf trolley design. And this is totally out of reach when designing based on lead-acid batteries.
We use both LiFePO4 3.2V cells or Lithium-ion NCM 3.6V batteries. LiFePO4 batteries provide us with a 4 to 5 times longer cycle life, and the NCM batteries provide us with 1/4 to 1/5 the weight of a comparable lead acid battery. Soon we'll be able to provide the Sodium-ion batteries as well.
No matter which chemistries and which cell shapes, we only choose A-grade cells with reliable quality, we choose them to provide the customer with a better golf trolley battery and to provide the end user a better user experience.
A programmable BMS allows e-bike manufacturers to customize the battery's performance characteristics to match the specific requirements of their e-bike models. This includes adjusting parameters such as voltage thresholds, current limits, and temperature cutoffs to optimize the battery's performance for different motor systems, riding conditions, and user preferences.
A programmable BMS can implement advanced algorithms for estimating the remaining battery capacity more accurately. This enables riders to have a better understanding of how much range they have left and can help prevent unexpectedly running out of power.
With a programmable BMS, safety features can be fine-tuned to provide an extra layer of protection. This might include setting more conservative voltage and temperature limits, implementing specific response behaviors for abnormal conditions, and tailoring protection mechanisms based on the e-bike's intended usage.
